What information on supporters is available in the GiveCircle Dashboard?

In the GiveCircle Dashboard, you can find information on your charity's supporters. Here is how to make sense of the information available.

Accessing Supporter Information

You can access supporter information by following these steps:

  1. Visit the GiveCircle Dashboard and log into your account. If you don't yet have an account, then contact us and we can set you up.
  2. Navigate to 'Supporters'
  3. From here, you can see a summary table of supporters (which is explained below). You can also download a CSV report of all supporters (which is also explained below).

Accessing Sensitive Data

We redact all sensitive data like mobile numbers by default. You can find instructions for accessing sensitive data here.

Supporter Summary Table

The columns in the supporter table are as follows:

Column Description
Name The name a supporter used when signing up to the lottery.
Mobile Number The mobile number a supporter used when signing up to the lottery.
Status

Active = supporter has signed up to the lottery and not yet unsubscribed.

 

Inactive = supporter signed up to the lottery, but has since unsubscribed.

Start Date The date on which a supporter signed up to the lottery.
End Date The date on which a supporter unsubscribed from the lottery. This will show for inactive players only.
Charity You will only see supporters playing your lottery, so this will always show your charity's name.

 

Supporter CSV Download

Clicking the download CSV button will download all time supporter data. The columns in the CSV are as follows:

Column Description
Subscriber ID

A unique value given to a supporter when they enter the lottery.


If a supporter unsubscribes from the lottery and then enters the lottery again, they will receive a new Subscriber ID.

Mobile Number The mobile number a supporter used when signing up to the lottery.
Charity Name You will only see supporters playing your lottery, so this will always show your charity's name.
Campaign ID This is the ID of the lottery campaign that a supporter belongs to. We use this to identify whether a supporter signed up via GiveCircle marketing or a charity's own marketing.
Campaign URL This is the URL of the campaign that a supporter belongs to. 
Tariff

The monetary amount a supporter has set up their repeat transaction for.

In most instances, this value will be £2 for supporters paying via mobile and £10 for supporters paying via Direct Debit or standing order.

Total Donated The total amount a supporter has given since they set up their lottery entry.
Frequency

The frequency with which a supporter is being billed.


 

Typically this value will be week for supporters paying via mobile and month for supporters paying via standing order.

Payment Method

The method a supporter is using to pay for their lottery entry.

If this contains ee, o2, vodafone, three, fonix or sky, then the supporter is paying via their mobile.

If this contains access_group, then the supporter is paying via Direct Debit.


If this contains globalcharge, then the supporter is paying via standing order.

If this contains test_success then this is a particular type of test entry that we run. However, please be mindful that other tests will show the payment method used for the test entry.

Start Date The date on which a supporter signed up to the lottery.
End Date The date on which a supporter unsubscribed from the lottery. This will show for inactive players only.
Last Billed Date The date on which a supporter was last successfully billed for their entry into the lottery.
Status

Active = supporter has signed up to the lottery and not yet unsubscribed.

 

Inactive = supporter signed up to the lottery, but has since unsubscribed.

First Name The first name a supporter gave when entering the lottery.
Last Name The last name a supporter gave when entering the lottery.
Consent The consent status a supporter gave to your charity when entering the lottery.

mobile = supporter has given consent to be contacted via text message

phone = supporter has given consent to be contacted via phone call

Please note that we only collect consent from supporters at the point of entry into the lottery. You should check your records to ensure that the supporter has not changed or withdrawn their consent since signing up to the lottery before you rely on this opt-in as a legal basis for contact.

Address

The address a supporter gave when entering the lottery or claiming a prize.


 

This has been an optional field in the supporter entry flow since September 2023, so will show for some supporters who have signed up since then. It will also show for supporters who have claimed a cash prize.

Email

The email address a supporter gave when entering the lottery.


 

This has been an optional field in the supporter entry flow since September 2023, so will show for some supporters who have signed up since then.

Month Born

The month in which a supporter said they were born, when entering the lottery.


 

This has been an optional field in the supporter entry flow since September 2023, so will show for some supporters who have signed up since then.

Year Born

The year in which a supporter said they were born, when entering the lottery.


 

This has been an optional field in the supporter entry flow since September 2023, so will show for some supporters who have signed up since then.

Title

The title given by a supporter when entering the lottery.


 

This has been an optional field in the supporter entry flow since September 2023, so will show for some supporters who have signed up since then.

Gender

The gender given by a supporter when entering the lottery.


 

This has been an optional field in the supporter entry flow since September 2023, so will show for some supporters who have signed up since then.
