How much money goes to charity from the GiveCircle Lottery?

At GiveCircle, we're passionate about supporting the charities that we're partnering with, so we work hard to ensure as much money as possible reaches charities.

A minimum of £1.02 from each ticket sold to the GiveCircle Lottery goes to your chosen charity. This works out at 51% of the £2 ticket price.

The remaining 49% (98p) goes towards covering the costs of running the lottery, such as prizes, payment processing fees, sending out correspondence to players and covering licensing costs.

For reference, at least 20% of the proceeds from a society lottery must go to a good cause. At GiveCircle, we have worked hard to minimise costs to ensure far more reaches charities.

Some charities we partner with may choose to spend some of the income they receive from the lottery to promote the lottery to new players.
